His eyes stay trained on hers as the first droplets sprinkle into his waiting mouth—but then her blood starts flowing in earnest, dripping down the sides of his face, staining the pillowcase underneath his head, and Vincent’s eyes close. The guttural moan he makes fills the empty room, raising goosebumps on Tifa’s skin, making her gasp.
He drinks from her like a parched man drinks from an oasis.
It was supposed to be a simple arrangement. Vincent would teach her how to strengthen her magic, and she, in turn, would let him drink her blood.
Tifa had no idea how it'd all gotten so damn complicated.
