Summary
Tubbo is with Ranboo when he receives the news - Tommy has died in prison.
For a moment, Tubbo can’t process it. He stands there, sunlight warming his dark hair, clenching his fingers tighter around the logs he’s carrying for the hotel. He sees, from the corner of his eye, Ranboo give him a concerned look.
Tubbo places down the wood, slowly, carefully. He steps one, two steps back, and suddenly the world itself is roaring in his ears. He can’t hear, can’t think. The angry letter of the message on the communicator is there, in front of him, and it echoes through his head-
Tubbo opens his mouth and screams.

Summary
“Is this not the path you have carved for yourself? You dare not take responsibility for the consequences of your reckless digging? Look what you’ve done!”
“I haven’t done anything!” Techno cries, clamping his hands over his ears and hating how pathetic he sounds. Somehow, Other-Techno’s voice remains crystal clear over the rushing wind that threatens to bowl Techno over.
“He wanted to be your friend,” Other-Techno hisses into his ear, in front of him suddenly. “And you used him just like you think everyone used you.”

Summary
“I’m serious,” He continues. “I can give you just about anything you want - I’ll make it happen.”
“What are you trying to do?” She asks monotonously. She wants him to shut up.
“Well, I’m clearly trying to find something out,” He rolls his eyes. “Anything you want. Shoot.”
“Your life,” Niki huffs after a long moment. She is almost daring him to respond to a dare like that, and imagines how she will laugh when he stutters and says that is not one of the things he’s offering. She will make a mirthless quip about the word anything. He will not respond.
The silence is long, and she thinks she’s right, but Tommy has never failed to surprise her.
“You can have it,” he says quietly. “I don’t mind. Not if it’s you.”
