out of her mouth. Her hair, floating in spite of her heavy, leaden body. Alecto’s eyes stayed fixed on Anastasia.
Alecto did not seem upset that she was there- he features did not twist savagely, her teeth did not bare, so she continued her careful undressing, sitting down carefully on the ledge and submerging her feet fully into the water. ‘☽

Summary
‘ the elevator dinged a final time, the music stopped, finally. and the doors slid open. The world right outside the elevator was uncomfortably bright, barren- with a few scattered pieces of furniture here and there.
Black and white prints of models lined the walls- all dressed simply and with very minimal makeup, and for a fleeting, uncomfortable moment she thought she recognized one of those faces. Harrow bristled at this, and swiftly ignored the wall entirely in hopes she was being delusional.
Gathering herself up, putting on her beloved mask of indifference and vague superiority- Harrow stepped out of the elevator. ‘

Summary
‘ Harrow relied on Gideon's hands, the feeling of her body- hard, and feverish, and the consistency of her presence to stay grounded. The crowd was large, pulsing, moving- the music a constant throb that shuddered through her body. Harrow hadn't realized she was shivering until Gideon’s hands wrapped around her, keeping her steady.
Gideon’s smile was wide- her outfit outrageous, her voice- muffled under the music but still audible to Harrow-, was also outrageous. She flaunted every defined muscle and hard line of her body proudly, openly. Her hair bright, and unyielding, Her shades. Sat atop that flaming mop of curls.
Harrow dragged her closer by the collar.’
