“Then hit me,” Ash said.
He said it so simply, too, like it was the commonest, most mundane action to do, the first thing you think of to do when you're pissed off.
It made Tubbo freeze. His thoughts suddenly jammed, sputtering like a broken motor. His pupils dilated in the low light, his breath caught in lungs that didn't fully exist.
The words repeated in his head, over and over, like a mantra, refusing to make sense.
Ash wanted Tubbo to hit him?
In which Tubbo is far too stressed about Haiper being killed by the Federation, and spirals. Ash knows one, slightly frowned upon fix to this. Its. Its punching him. Ash wants Tubbo to punch him as stress relief.
Spoiler alert: he does after some goading. It knocks some sense, and some feelings, into the supreme leader.

I got mad at ash so i made tubbo punch him. but then i felt bad so i made him feel things that make him stupid and love drunk. ft. Ash praising Tubbo's biceps in one sentence.

Summary
His hand lingered, mapping out the ridges and golden scars with renewed interest, making Tubbo’s tail flick again, slower this time, a lazy slap that matched the steady beat of his heartbeats.—This was a lie, Both of their heartbeats were racing in tandem, practically rushing towards a heart attack—He rested his eyes, just for a moment, letting the side of his head lie lazily on Ash's knees.
Tubbo’s voice was quiet and a little slurred around the edges, like he wasn’t entirely sure what he was saying, "Y’know, man… if you’re that curious, you wanna see the rest? The… fuckin' uh, other scars?” His grin was half-joking, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes, a mixture of curiosity and mischief, maybe even vulnerability, if he was completely honest.
IN WHICH Ashswag asks about Tubbo's broken horn, Tubbo relates it to a scar, this causes a chain reaction of Ashswag wanting to see more of Tubbo's scars, getting dare I say touchy-feely with Tubbo, and then, eventually, finally, kissing him. Tubbo does not mind this outcome one bit.
OR
I give tubswag an excuse to kiss via letting Ash map out Tubbo's body with his hands. for purely curiositys sake, of course.

Summary
Tubbo didn’t turn, though he can admit that his grin widened. “You look like a fucking burrito,” he said softly, his voice carrying just enough to be heard over both the machinery and the wind. “A really sad burrito. Like a reealllyyy soggy, moldy, sad burrito."
Ash’s head snapped up, and for a moment, his eyes burned with the kind of indignation only a man buried in fleece could manage. “Why are you so mean, man?..." Ash's voice cracked slightly as he whined, his breath puffing out in a cloud that betrayed just how much the cold had gotten to him.
In which it finally snows on Quesadilla Island! Hooray! In other news, this makes Ashswag think that he doesn't want to feel lonely anymore than he already has, so he stakes the cold-front out with Tubbo; he also gets to struggle with his feelings for the man in the meantime.
OR
I give ashswag a snow day but the drawback is i force him to think about Tubbo for more than necessary. oopsies.

How soft had he gotten? How hadn't he noticed— why hadn't he noticed sooner?
“Honestly,” Tubbo continued, voice lowering as he focused on his work, “if you’re gonna get into fights, you could at least let me come with you. I can make machines that explode now. It’d be fun.” Tubbo didn't mention how his machine exploding was an accident, and not a happy one.
Ash swore he didn’t laugh. Supreme leaders didn't laugh, totally not.
…Okay, maybe the corner of his mouth jerked upward a little, but that was it.
In which Ashswag gets hurt when fighting, and Tubbo doesn't take no as an answer when offering to help him heal up. As always, this ends up having severe repercussions on Ashswag's character and makes him reevaluate his wants, and his needs.
OR
Ashswag can BLEED??? Tubbo heals him and Ash is so, so normal about this action.

Tubbo finds Ashswag (totally not) crying at the steps of his factory, Ashswag vents, Tubbo shares a few stories, of other people and of himself, they both hate Cucurucho. Thanks to Tubbo's expert comforting skills, Ashswag might start a war soon, but atleast he feels better!... Right?
