“Ani, don’t forget to pick up the new table :)”
Anakin Skywalker was a very happy man, really. His girlfriend was the most perfect human being in the world. And he was with her. They were dating, living together, picking up second-hand furniture for their new apartment, hence the table, and hoping to start a life together.
He wondered if they would get there had she not texted him and had he not replied to it.
He liked to think they would.

Summary
an anidala drabble, set in a period of civil war.
It did not mean it wasn't hurting. That his heart didn't break whenever they asked him when he would go home. Whenever their little cries could be heard as he said his goodbyes, as his promises to come back were made and fulfilled, then made again, there was always another mission. Another planet to save, another slave to free.
It did hurt, and he cried.
So he vowed to come home every time. It was all he could do.

Summary
She didn’t feel like she could understand it fully, but she could sense the loneliness in it, not a bad loneliness as she so often felt as a child even in a house so full, but a quiet solitude, a good one, she hoped. She felt as if she was being seen in it, not young Mary, but her current self, who moved on her own to London, to stay with family she barely met in order to follow her dreams.
She also felt the power of nature, of living free. Of roaming through the fields and going home to something she loved, to reflect on her days, even if those were spent alone.
“This is a really good one,” she heard a low voice whisper above her shoulder and didn’t need to turn around to see who it was; she knew it.
or, Mary is a librarian, Tom is her favourite patron, and she decided poetry might be a good idea for her after all.

“Leia,” he sighed, “Stop annoying your brother. And Luke, don’t pull on her braids, please.”
“But Dad, she started it,” Luke whined.
“Doesn’t matter who started it, we’re finishing it.”
