Summary
Maka has known pain since she was very young. Having a rare form of connection to her soulmate should have been exciting, an insight to the life of one she was destined to meet and to love, but all it's brought her is the unique understanding that, whoever and wherever her soulmate is, they're suffering. And Medusa's new stupid nurse aide isn't helping that problem.
Crona was never supposed to have a soulmate. Failing as a kishin was bad enough, but having to bear the knowledge that their existence has caused only pain for someone who was never meant to be caught in the crossfire is something else entirely. But they can't disobey Medusa now- and besides, it's not like they'll be a problem much longer.

Summary
Crona had told themself that they wouldn't be upset when Soul and Maka started dating. Unfortunately, it is significantly harder than they would like to push down those feelings.
Features a lot of Crona being mentally ill with psychosis and derealisation. But they grow a flower, so that's nice.

Summary
Maka Albarn, the girl with blooming astilbes, never allowed herself to feel love. Sure, she loves her friends and family, but as far as romantic love comes… she’s terrified of it. Just like everyone else on this earth, she was born with a specific phobia that relates to what will eventually kill her. Her friends at the academy have fears that are equally as strange. While their fear represents their death, the flowers that bloom from their body represent their life force, their personality, and everything that makes up their being. Maka’s flowers have a specific meaning- “I’ll be waiting for you.” She always wondered- waiting for who? She constantly asks herself this until her childhood friend, Crona Gorgon, suddenly appears out of nowhere and truly makes her consider going against her fear. FLOWERS/FEAR AU
