Summary
All eyes were on Dick Grayson.
That was to be expected. He was the reason a group of people, including himself, were now hostages in the most secure museum in the country, after all.
Despite all the priceless artifacts in the museum they were trapped in, Dick Grayson was the real prize. Law enforcement couldn’t possibly risk hurting the wealthy and influential Bruce Wayne’s son, meaning they were at the mercy of the captors.
And just Dick’s luck: one his captors was Slade Wilson, his long time enemy who had no idea who Dick was behind the mask.
At this point, Dick is starting to think he should have pursued acting instead of vigilantism.

Damian sniffs pretentiously as Dick starts up the car and gets them on the road, the reprimand already on his tongue. “Don’t be foolish, Richard, you have mastered a number of languages and are perfectly capable of speaking them as they were intended to be spoken, as I do. Making excuses as such is undignified.”
Dick hums, amused. “I think there was actually a compliment in there. You’re getting soft, baby bat.”
Damian’s scandalized face is exactly as Dick pictured it. “I am not!”
…Bruce died. Bruce came back to life. The months between those moments don’t stop meaning something even if it would be easier if they did.
It’s up to Dick to reassemble his life and find a way to be a brother to the boy he considers his kid. It shouldn’t be a problem (except that it is) and where the hell is his sweater??
