Optimus found himself surreptitiously following Megatron out towards the natural oil pools a ways off from the walled fortress they’d been having the peace talks in. A hot soak - and hopefully more - sounded perfect for assuaging both his exhaustion and the frustrated desire that Megatron had been teasing out of him.
“So what are we doing here?” Arcee whispered, just as he watched Megatron slip smoothly into a pool across the distance still between them. “Is this an assassination?”

“Primus.” Megatron should have known it was too good to be true. Of course Optimus wouldn’t have let him go in search of the Knights without keeping him under surveillance.
There was no better surveillance than a living ship. He'd ostensibly been freed, only to be transferred to a prison that could watch him and sense him all the time. A prison that was aware, immature, and hell-bent on sabotaging Megatron's daily existence.
