    Hizashi already adores Shouta's kid, because Izuku is the sweetest and coolest teenager to ever exist, but spending time with Izuku makes him love the kiddo even more. Shouta's Kidilante is amazing.

    "What do you feel like, kiddo?" Hizashi asks, smiling down at the teen,
    "Fried chicken or noodles or something else?"  Swinging their hands between them, Izuku hums a little, clearly thinking.

    He makes a decision by the time they reach the end of Hizashi's long street, headed towards the less residential area,
    "Noodles or donburi maybe?" Well, Hizashi sure isn't gonna complain about that!

    "Ooh, something traditional then. Can do, Baby Broccoli!"  Izuku flashes him the sweet edges of a smile, and Hizashi's heart trips over itself.

    He loves his nephew so much.

    Nedzu is simply on a walk to meet one of his old students, because he's really quite sure that Shouta-kun would make a marvellous teacher, when a child runs into him.

    And it's a clever child, one with bright eyes who flinches at distant shouts, and, really, they are more of a pup than anything else, hunted, yet oh-so brilliant too. So what is Nedzu to do but to ensure their safety, and perhaps something longer term too?

    The child is one who, in the past thirty second has run full-pelt into Nedzu, sending them both to the floor; promptly carefully pulled the hero up by the front paws in lieu of ham-fistedly attempting to scoop him up around the middle like most humans, particularly children or dismissive adults, are inclined to do; and proceeded to apologise profusely whilst calling themselves a Deku.

     

    What an intriguing child that he has come across.
