    "You cannot be serious!" Olympia blurted out, but her cheeks had missed the message and burned with hopeful heat. "Leilidahna, you are shameless!" She looked at Leda angrily, expectantly, waiting for her to admit it with a laugh, that she had been simply toying with Olympia's heart.

    And yet Leda said nothing, just staring at her. The silence stretched on, and Olympia's stomach flipped with doubts.

    "You... you were not being serious, there," Olympia said helplessly. Suddenly nowhere near as confident of that, and having no idea what she'd do if Leda had been genuine. "Were you?"

    "Maybe I was." Olympia's heart leapt, but Leda wasn't smiling any longer, as she looked away. "But I wouldn't be good for you, Olympia."
