For the prompt - Bilbo finding Thorin in the forge, working. Also, the sweaty King has no shirt.

If Bilbo had spent less time ogling Thorin in the forge, and more time watching his footing, this would never have happened.

Bilbo nodded, backing away. He still felt a little flustered, and he was sure his face was red as a beet.

‘Try not to get lost again,’ Thorin smiled.

‘I’ll try my chest – best! I’ll try my best!’ Bilbo could have kicked himself over the blunder, but as it turned out he didn’t have to.

Thorin’s face transformed from an infuriatingly knowing smirk into a look of panic. He reached out with a hand, stepping forward quickly, ‘Bilbo, look out!’

    Summary

CRASH! Bilbo’s head shot up from where he was sorting the paperwork and in an instant, he was running from the study. He barely made it into the living room when he froze and gasped.

Fíli was on the floor in a crumpled heap next to the low table. Bilbo hurried to his side, kneeling down on the cold stone floor. He pulled Fíli into his arms and shook the prince as carefully as he could, eyes going wide at the bleeding gash on his forehead that was staining blond locks deep red. Fíli didn’t stir, he didn’t wake.

“SOMEBODY HELP!” Bilbo screamed, holding Fíli as close as he could.

When a sickness descends upon Erebor and the princes fall dangerously ill, their only hope is that the main ingredient in the medicine required, a flower that only grew in the lonely mountain, had survived Smaug. With lives at stake, the fate of the princes and of the kingdom falls onto the shoulders of one hobbit, who tries to juggle caring for his nephews, comforting his love and future sister-in-law, and proving to the mountain that he was more than just an outsider.

    Summary

The first thing Thorin sees when he wakes up is his own hand resting on the bedsheets. Atop it rests another, smaller hand. It feels warm and looks soft, the skin unworried by forge burns and blemishes. It is not a dwarf’s hand; he knows as much. Yet he cannot quite gather for himself if that is of any importance.

Or, Thorin loses his memory and quite forgets that the hobbit by his bedside whom he wishes to court and marry is already his husband. Everyone else find this hilarious.

    Summary

The golden lamps of the royal dining hall cast a warm, amber glow over the table, but the atmosphere in the corridors of Erebor was far from peaceful. For months, a low-level murmur of dissent had been brewing in the darker corners of the mountain. Most of the kingdom adored their Hobbit Consort, the "Luck-wearer" who had helped reclaim their home. But one particular nobleman, Lord Bruni, a traditionalist with a heart as cold as the stone he mined, could not stand the sight of a Halfling wearing a crown of Mithril. To him, Bilbo Baggins was a soft, power-hungry intruder who had bewitched the King.

Bruni had decided that the "Hobbit problem" required a permanent solution. He hadn't just used a drop of poison; he had used enough to fell a dragon.
