“DO YOU TRULY WANT TO?” It croons the words into his ear, the line hanging in front of him. Dragon shouldn’t, he sees the sharp hook at the end. Yet he grabs, hook piercing his hand and dragging him to the surface.
He nods. “Yes.” It crumbles out of his throat, sad and defeated. Unrecognizable to even himself. God he’s pathetic. He’ll have to apologize to Purplesub later. “I want to Ace. That’s all I wanted.”
