Summary
Steve arrives at Max’s trailer in record time, breaking nearly every driving rule in the book on the journey. The lights are on despite it being past midnight, and Steve can hear some loud crashing sounds even from where he’s standing outside.
“Fuck it,” Steve says, deciding he better go in. He runs into the trailer at once, bat in hand, thanking whoever left the door unlocked.
He’s taken aback at the scene. Max is kneeling on the ground, pleading with her mother to calm down. There’s shattered glass everywhere on the floor, broken beer bottles lined up against the walls. Max is barefoot, only wearing thin pyjamas, and is slightly shaking. The whole room stinks of alcohol.

Bakugou snorts, lifting his eyes from his phone to meet Kirishima’s, “Who the fuck knows Morse code?”
“Don’t tell me it wouldn’t be super awesome to talk through the wall! Like a bro code!” Kirishima beams and taps his knee against Bakugou’s before settling back down on the cheetah-print comforter.
Bakugou sighs heavily, but Kirishima notices the soft upturn of his lips and the crinkles forming at the edges of his eyes at the suggestion, so he doesn’t refrain from laughing softly. Bakugou ‘tch’s, “Fine, if you really want to. Don’t say I don’t do anything for you, hair-for-brains.”
