Angela smiles and Spork blinks, eyes wide, like he has no thoughts in his head.
“He told me today he misses you,” Angela says.
“Did he?” Damien asks, his smile soft and tender, and aimed at her and Spork, “well, Spork, I miss you too.”

Which reminded her of her mission again.
"Oh! I forgot what I actually came over here for," Angela blurted out, noticing Damien jump a little in surprise. “I wanted to ask if you got Rylie's number."
"Oh, uh. No, I didn't," Damien replied, sounding tenser than he had before.
"I knew you'd make good friends. Although, I still think it could be something more."
Damien let out a breath. "Why do you want me to date her so badly?" he asked, genuine confusion marking his tone.
"Why don't you want to? Do you like someone else?" Angela asked without really thinking about it.
Immediately, Damien flushed pink, and Angela smiled excitedly, realizing that might not have been such a stupid question. "Oh my god, you do!"
