Summary
Unrest along the shared border between the southern regions forces begrudging collaboration between the Palaces of Xuan Zhen and Nan Yang—often to disastrous effect. Mu Qing decides to disguise himself as a junior official to intervene in these joint missions to keep hostilities under control, but his clever scheme—and his whole godhood itself—could all go to ruin in the wake of one irritating—and irritatingly charming—obstacle: Nan Feng.

Summary

Cast from the Heavens as a baby, Feng Xin embarks on a journey to reclaim his divinity by becoming a true hero. Helping him, is a scholar named Mu Qing, who Feng Xin falls head over heels for. Mu Qing and Feng Xin discover there is more at play than just angry monsters tormenting the mortal realm, but a mastermind trying to thwart Feng Xin at every turn and cast the Heavens into disarray. Together, they must overcome these odds, save the Heavens from collapse, and along the way Feng Xin must learn what it means to be a true hero before it is too late.
