    Summary

Liam Gallagher is five when he is separated from his older brother, Noel.

By eleven years old, he has a loving family, a safe home, and a life that is almost perfect. Then Damon Albarn moves in next door: quiet, awkward, clever, and nothing like Liam at all. Liam doesn't expect to be friends with someone like Damon, but over time they learn that they have more in common than they first thought. Then everything starts to go horribly wrong.
Liam's already lost one person he loves. He's not sure he can survive losing another.

He turned and noticed no one in the bed beside him, instead there laid an ugly green-grey jumper and Simon cursed himself as he knew he couldn’t keep doing this.
