Summary
Takes place where season 5 leaves off. Laura and Steele are left to their own devices trying to figure out where to go with their relationship while Steele grapples with the loss of his father. Tony Roselli is also still in the picture and as promised, does not go quietly. Devastated by a perceived betrayal on Laura's part, Steele attempts to finish Daniel's last mission. Laura follows with the help of Tony resulting in the weirdest road trip ever into the USSR.

Summary
My stories under the "Becoming Steele" rubric investigate how a peripatetic conman was transformed into the respected private investigator Remington Steele. Stories under my rubric "Becoming Remington" ask the question, how did Laura's partner Mr. Steele transform into her beloved Remington? These latter begin with the episodes Steele of Approval and Steele Searching, and continue forward from there. The first fanfic story in Becoming Remington starts with "Steele Searching" and move forward from there. On this page, I'll list the stories in order of reading, which is mostly temporal.
Unfortunately, because I am not very web-clever, I can't figure out how to provide here a direct link to each story. So instead, just put the story title into the AO3 search engine, and these should pop up. I believe Dancer is still over at fanfic.net.
