tldr: I have been watching people react to the k-drama Mr. Queen and I think it was lowkey a story about a man falling in love with both his wife and another man. And also falling in love with a combination of both of them; which makes this a perfect Limoreau canvas.

Michaela Stirling's POV at that ball when she first met Francesca Bridgerton.
Contrary to what people seem to think, I think Francesca isn't aware that she's attracted to Michaela. Yes, she was awe-struck when she met her but she'll probably write it off as just nerves at meeting John's first family member. She'll go for a while in her relationship with Michaela thinking that's just her really good friend who she really really likes and happens to be her husband's cousin. I don't think her being attracted to Michaela at first sight lessens anything about her relationship with John. She loves him and she will do so long after he has passed. I think she'll only probably begin to understand her feelings for Michaela during or after her grieving process.
