We were both thirteen. I do not know where it all started - thoughts crawling under my skin, reminding me my life is destined to end. Every human dies in some way, but not me. We were both thirteen at the time, when we both were prophesied my death. The omen did not bother us at first. Then, maybe before we've met Chiron or after - it started all falling apart for me. The fear took its time to grow within me. Before I could notice, I was constantly in pain - with only one thing keeping me from drowning.
