That jolts him to alertness. He pushes himself out of bed, squeezing his phone between his shoulder and ear as he yanks his closet door open, grabbing the first shirt he sees. “Of course. Do you need me to stay on the line?”
There’s a long pause. His whole body goes cold, ice seeping into his flesh from the inside out. He’s about to ask again, a last resort before dialing the police, when Katsuki breathes out, “Yeah.”
