Summary
After ten years in Stillwater for a crime she didn't commit, Vi breaks herself out and goes home. Her homecoming doesn't go like she thought it would.
Two years later, she's out of control and out on the streets. She's now a champion pitfighter, a raging alcoholic, and completely on her own. Despite her family's best (and desperate) efforts to help, Vi's on a one-way track to ending up either dead or back in prison.
At the same time, Caitlyn arrives in the undercity to collect data and information for her thesis. She starts her research from a local bar called The Last Drop, which puts her right into Vi's path. Vi might have been out of her family's home for years, but she's still not going to let a topsider put them in danger.
Canon divergence (everyone lives!), enemies to lovers (barely, the lovers aspect happens fast), angst, trauma, addiction, and also fluff and humour (because these things can co-exist!)

Summary
Vi’s new home–for the next few months, at least–definitely has more than a few stories to tell. She just doesn't expect the ghost of Caitlyn Kiramman to be the one to tell them. After a hundred years of solitude, haunting the halls of her childhood home, Caitlyn is used to being alone. At least she thinks she is, until the manor's latest pink-haired, tattooed guest changes everything.

Vi comes to a stop in front of a portrait of a woman standing with her back to the viewer, only half of her face visible over her shoulder. There is a hunting rifle in her hand, and a proud arch in her spine. There’s something about the woman’s expression that Vi can’t look away from–it’s soft, almost curious, but there’s an undeniable sharpness in her eye, like she’s staring right into Vi’s soul.
She’s also, at least from what Vi can tell by the angle of the portrait, exactly Vi’s type.
“Well, hey there, handsome,” Vi says under her breath.
“Good afternoon.”

Summary

Then an opportunity arises to get her sister back. The sister that Vi thought was going to be lost to drugs and to Silco forever.
So she takes that opportunity, and it brings her two separate lives together inextricably.
