Summary
After a few days, it is almost a tradition. He will look up from his work at the kitchen cabinet to find Joe smiling up at him. And every morning it gets harder not to indulge himself in the little fantasy, that Joe, sitting at the kitchen island all cosied up in Nicky’s hoodie is not a client who accidentally stole his hoodie, but a boyfriend who had every right to.
A boyfriend who is all cosy and snug because Nicky’s shoulders are just a little broader than his, making the hoodie a little loose on him. A boyfriend who will make teasing comments to him about not giving the hoodie back, and ply Nicky with tea (or, preferably, coffee) to make him forget. A boyfriend who will eventually give the hoodie back to Nicky, at which point the fabric will have taken on just enough of his scent that Nicky won’t feel alone when walking home in the evening at all.
In which Nicky's fixing Joe and Booker's kitchen, Joe accidentally steals his hoodie, and Booker livetweets the whole thing.
