Summary
“Wait!” the girl cried, rushing to catch up with Vi. “Where are you going?”
“Not here,” Vi replied, not stopping.
“Take me with you!”
That made Vi stop. She spun around, watching as the girl stumbled to a sudden halt in front of her. “And why the hell would I do that?”
Or, Vi is grumpy, Jinx is a gremlin child, and they somehow make it to Vi's ex-girlfriend's house without killing each other during the end of the world.

Summary
Vi is hired by the Kirammans to work on their huge farmland for the summer. The moment they meet, Caitlyn is hopelessly, pathetically, head-over-heels obsessed with the charmingly handsome, horse-wrangling Vi.
It doesn’t take long for the feelings to become mutual between them, and what Caitlyn originally anticipated was going to be a boring few months turns out to be the most romantic, whirlwind summer of her life.

Summary
The Noxian conflict had changed Caitlyn. It had changed everyone, but in Caitlyn it had instilled something harsh, all rough lines and drawn brows. From Vi’s spot against the study door, Caitlyn looks like a statue, the tension in her shoulders drawing her into a ridged line. Unwavering, unyielding. Even the way her pen moves across the paper betrays her, the words cut into the parchment in short deliberate strokes.
“Cait.” The subtle tilt of Caitlyn’s chin is the only indication that she hears Vi. A dismissive acknowledgment. She tries again. “Caitlyn.”
