Una vez en las escaleras los sonidos que emanaban de la habitación de Clark tenían a Martha temblando. Era obvio que quien lloraba era Lex, mientras Clark rugía como una bestia y él empresario rogaba por que se detuviera.
“Oh por Dios.”
La puerta no tenía seguro, Jonathan la abrió al primer intento. “¡Clark!” y entró con la roca brillando por delante.
Clark rugió mostrándole los dientes, Jonathan no había visto caninos de ese tamaño en ningún otro alfa, el corazón le saltó en el pecho. Sujetó la roca con fuerza y dio otro paso al frente.
“Clark.” Volvió a llamarlo.
