    Dean's fine.

Then he gets a piece of metal stuck through his ribs. But he doesn’t die, even though he’s pretty sure he should’ve.

He’s still— fine. No matter what Sam thinks.

    (And Cas is still gone.)

    Summary

"You here about the car?" the guy asks, and Eddie nods.

Then he leans over, grabbing a set of keys off the table, and giving them a toss to Eddie. Closing his front door behind him, "Test drive?"

Eddie nods dumbly. He doesn't really have time to bullshit around, but the car is gorgeous and the guy is stunning, and well, the other guys can surely handle this until he can catch up. Ten extra minutes won't hurt. He's already late.

Or: Steve joins Eddie on a Smokey and The Bandit style run.

    Summary

A 14.13 Lebanon rewrite. When Dean uses a wish-granting pearl to try and kill the archangel Michael before he can escape the cage in Dean's head, they instead wind up with a newly-resurrected John Winchester.

It's been more than a decade since John died, and a lot has changed: Mary is alive, Sam and Dean have what passes for a proper home in the Men of Letters Bunker, and they're living with angels. John doesn't know angels are real, he doesn't know about the fragile new relationship between Dean and Castiel, and most of all, he doesn't know that Dean said yes to Michael, or that Dean's plan to defeat Michael would send him to a fate worse than death.

Now Dean must contend with both his father asking questions he can't answer, and his loved ones learning about the darker truths of his childhood, all while constantly battling the archangel trapped inside him. But Dean coming to terms with his history may be the difference between this being the beginning of a journey—or the end.

    Summary

A man named Cas wakes up in 2003 with no memories, but he's able to piece together a few things:

Supernatural creatures exist, and most of them will hurt innocent civilians if he doesn't stop them; he has abilities that no human hunter should have, but he knows enough about human hunters to keep that to himself, and finally; he keeps running into another hunter named Dean Winchester, who must be as lonely as he is if he's willing to put up with those former facts long enough to help Cas unravel the mystery of who (or what) he really is.

For his part, Dean's still (not) dealing with Sam's departure to Stanford, and figures distracting himself with a bit of mystery and intrigue is as harmless as it gets, right? Right.

A three part series (with some side stories) that goes from pre-series into the end of season 3 (and beyond?) This 'verse asks two very important questions: what if Dean Winchester got a boyfriend, and what if Cas listened to Fiona Apple.
