She must have also sensed that he hates guessing what someone wants from him, because she made it very clear– she wanted his notes. And then she wanted to study together. And then she called him one night from a frat party, ranting drunkenly about how her friends had abandoned her and there were creepy guys and before she’d even finished her sentence, Del had been outside and on his board.
