“Wanna dance?” Eddie asks, leaning only slightly away to look at Buck. He’s smirking now, eyes traveling all over Buck’s face, taking in his expression and the color blooming on his cheeks.
There’s a look in Eddie’s eyes now, one that Buck hadn’t quite seen before this trip. Or had he? Did it just not mean to him then what he realizes, or thinks, it means now? Regardless, it confirms a thought that has been niggling at the back of his mind all night.
Flirting. Eddie was flirting with him.
or, Buck visits Eddie in Texas a few months after he leaves LA. They road trip to Austin with Adriana to stay with Sophia, who has planned a night out on the town that none of them will soon forget - especially Buck and Eddie.

Summary
"At the beginning of their next shift, Buck and Eddie are on task to restock the ambulances. Buck parades around the bay, clipboard in hand, going from ambulance to ambulance, tut-tut-tutting about the unacceptable levels of gloves. After the third ambulance full of um, excuse me, I think you meant “check,” Eddie takes Buck’s clipboard and swaps it out for a very large box of gauze. So large that Buck has to hold it with both hands.
“Go stand over there, stand still, and, if I need gauze, I will come to you. Okay?”
Eddie stands firm but Buck’s everything goes soft and sort of fuzzy. Mouth agape, cheeks flushed, and eyes glossy, Buck stands behind the open ambulance bay doors with his hands around the box, not moving a single muscle.
Turning back to the ambulances, Eddie gets back to work.
Buck stands still."
