Summary
After being released from Aperture following GLaDOS' promise, Chell struggles to move on. Most of her life, as far as she remembered, was spent in Aperture one way or another. Being dumped in the middle-of-nowhere Michigan possible decades after her last interaction with the outside world isn't an easy thing to deal with. Especially considering Chell's lack of basic supplies and the dangerous chemicals still lurking in her body.
For huge Orange Box geeks, this doesn't occur in conjunction with any other games in the (commonly assumed) same universe. I have not played Half-Life and the research I did for world building was brief but incredibly confusing. So, I'm sticking with my original plan; just making it its own thing.

Summary
Two vigilantes, Canine King and Emerald Knight, try their best to protect their beloved city with a bit of flare.
The difficult thing about vigilante work, however, is the authorities. Being a self-proclaimed hero isn't exactly legal, even if you're doing what you believe is right. The duo is challenged with avoiding being arrested while dealing with plenty of their own personal problems. Protecting a city is a hard mantle to bear!

Summary
Jacob English, a historian and archeologist from Great Britain, goes on an adventure to find treasure. Simple enough, right? Unfortunately, he is in the United States. Specifically, in the Western Frontier; "cowboy" territory. English is completely out of his comfort zone when it comes to searching for ancient rings in a seemingly endless desert with sparse towns and way too many hostile animals.
Good thing he stumbles across a well travelled cowboy! Though Dirk Strider is stoic and doesn't really want to help Jake out, he decides to hang around anyways.
Just a normal cowboy treasure hunt. No wacky adventures or situations at all... hopefully
