    Summary

He'd already dug his fingernails deep into Augustine's collarbones, drawing blood which ebbed down into bare skin… metaphorically. His eyes, clear but cloudy at the same time, had pierced through the fabric of Augustine’s entire being. Whenever he smirked in satisfaction, kneeling down atop Augustine’s torso in order to crawl over on top of him, Augustine felt himself glower because he knew he was a weak-weak man beneath the other— the stranger had wrapped his fingers around the base of Augustine's throat like a predator does its prey. (Imagining the stranger killing him…)

(...had Augustine always been this delirious before?)

It was a stranger that haunted Augustine every night. The same person, continuously and consistently.
