Summary

After a conversation with a friend, Sirius starts to suspect what the motive for these gifts could be, and Sirius realises that distance means nothing between brothers.

Regulus shows up at the Potters' house bleeding and hurt, which reveals something about James' relationship with him to Sirius.
Sirius has a hard time accepting many things, from Regulus being here to him and James being a thing.
Horrible truths are discovered, and in the end, Sirius could never really let go of caring for Regulus, even when he tried so hard to.
