Summary
Kind of inspired by A Kind of Courtship in that it has themes of Wens with no understanding of consent and forced marriage, except in this one Wen Xu is a good man, the marriage is notionally to restore honour, and Wen Chao is once more the sex criminal instead of his brother.
(ETA an actual summary so that you can have some actual idea of what this fic is about. Sorry. Tired and distracted when I posted): Wen Chao's story of the defeat of the Xuanwu of Slaughter sows seeds of doubt in the heart of his father, leading to Wen Ruohan to summon his eldest son and send him to Lotus Pier to assess Wen Chao's performance in subjugating it. On his arrival Wen Xu stumbles across his brother committing a crime in the eyes of Wen law, a shameful, dishonourable crime...
