He loved his team, adored them and thought they adored him in return... and he has to remind himself that this wasn't the guy's decision, it was management. Management who didn't have the first clue about team dynamic, about friendship, about fucking brotherhood. Management who definitely didn't know the secrets he'd let his boys in on and how they'd made him feel at home, welcome in a place he'd feared he absolutely wouldn't be. It hadn't been his team, his friends... it was only his life. (Otherwise known as Dilly's trying to deal with being traded.)
