Summary
When an alert goes off in Cairo that an ancient timepiece buried under the sphinx is in danger of being stolen--potentially by someone who wants to change the past--Harry Potter sends two of his best aurors with knowledge on Death Eaters and time-turners: Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy. They end up in far more danger than anyone anticipates: facing ancient curses, getting poisoned, ending up in wand battles, teleporting, and time-traveling.
It's a race against time for Hermione and Draco find the time piece and maybe set aside a little time for their own lives while they're at it, as the two are finding it harder to stay apart and the future seems to hint that they'll eventually be together.
In the meantime, Theodore Nott, current sole Unspeakable working in the Time Room begins to get visits from a child named James and some of Malfoy's future brats. Why the hell isn't anyone watching these kids and keeping them from messing around with the timeline? But does he have something to learn from them about the future that will help him navigate his cold and lonely current existence. And is the answer Harry Potter?
