Summary
A Sequel to The Three Remaining Embryos: Gianna's Story
Gianna's Story ended with an epilogue taking place two years in the future. The Deluca-Bishop family photos revealed a surprise - Maya and Carina had decided to transfer the third, and last, remaining embryo and allow fate to decide if their family had been completed with Gianna.
The transfer was successful and Maya is now pregnant with Deluca-Bishop Baby#4.
But, before they can share their exciting news an incident with the Tacoma Fire Department causes SFD to implement a month long period of re-training and testing on both basic and advanced firefighting skills for the entire department. Maya's made the decision not to report her pregnancy to the department until after she successfully gets Station 19 through the training, and her decision isn't up for debate. Carina's disapproval of Maya's decision causes an argument and leaves her worried. But how much of Carina's overprotectiveness of Maya and the baby is because of legitimate concerns, and how much is the result of PTSD from Gianna's emergency delivery? Trauma that Carina had thought she was past until her wife was carrying another child.

Rocky, please. I’m trying to spare you right now.
Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.
