Summary
While Scully is out of town, The Lone Gunmen tip Mulder off to mysterious, seemingly identical women spotted in close proximity to the executives of technology companies.
For BSG, takes place after S2E20 “Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II.”
The time in the X-Files universe is more nebulous, but it’s definitely after S2E25 “Anasazi” and before S7E10 “Sein und Zeit.” Most of the case references are to early seasons, which are the ones I’m most familiar with. The setting is the late 90s (although I’ve taken some liberties with people and events in our history).

Leoben had only volunteered for this mission to see the temple they had heard about in intercepted Colonial transmissions. But after they landed, Cavil and D’Anna dismissively told him to stay with the Heavy Raider. He should have known they wouldn’t let him anywhere near the temple. All the Cavils mocked his visions, and this particular Three was consumed with following visions of her own.
AU starting in S3 E12, “Rapture,” in which Leoben, not Dualla, is the one to arrive at Starbuck's crashed Raptor. A companion piece to “Go Places.” There will be hints and references to events through the rest of the series and “The Plan.”

Summary
After Starbuck crash lands a Raptor on the algae planet, someone she isn’t expecting comes to her aid.
AU starting in S3 E12, “Rapture.” There will be hints and references to events through the rest of the series and “The Plan.”
The main storyline is in the first work, “Go Places.” The same events are told from the other POV in “Stay with Me.” Installments 3-5 are reactions to these events, while installment 6 is the set-up for the rest of the series, which is my attempt at a fix-it of Season 4. The current plan is for 10 installments, each from a different POV.
The title of the series and all works within it are lyrics from the song “Go Places” by The New Pornographers.
