Summary
The building, for better or for worse (more so the latter), is a time capsule. Creaking open the front office door startles the young man behind the counter. His large, dark eyes tear themselves away from the magazine in his hands, and he quickly swings his feet off the desk and onto the floor. For posterity, Daniel pretends he doesn’t see the desktop computer hastily shoved under the table.
“Good evening, Sir,” he begins. “Checking in?” A piece of gum flashes bright pink between his teeth as he speaks. He’s a cute young thing, likely college-aged, clad in a brown suede vest with a tight-fitting striped shirt that ends at his elbows. He toys with one of his two necklaces, sliding the charm back and forth along the chain.
And that’s all it takes. Daniel wants him; he’s decided. He’ll do whatever it takes to get in his pants tonight.

“I’m trying to think of what to do with you.” Daniel says, nonchalantly, like he’s trying to decide what clothes to wear or where to go for dinner. He massages the spot inside of Armand that makes him whine and rut his body down against Daniel’s. “Maybe I’ll have you sit on my cock until you’ve learned to be patient. I have emails to catch up on anyways. Maybe I’ll even give Louis a call and see how he’s doing?”
“No,” Armand objects, gripping at Daniel’s ankles, using them for leverage to fuck himself back on his fledgling’s fingers. “I don’t want to wait anymore, beloved.”
“No? How about… You ride me until your legs give out.” he suggests, laughing when Armand rests his forehead against Daniel’s shin with a heavy, aroused sigh. “Sounds good, huh?”
Armand is insistent on disrupting a video call between Daniel and an interviewer for his book. He is punished accordingly - not with pain, but with the attention he's so desperately after. Perhaps even too much of it.

SPOILERS TVL EPISODE 6. Two months of Daniel/Armand living together, learning to walk in the sun, drinking from each other, and oops maybe having some sex: everything we didn't see in the show.
Molloy is pretty darn good at making dumbass decisions. So he kisses Armand and pretends it’s just the same thing as sharing blood, or sharing a coffin, or being left a mug in the microwave for the last three weeks, or calling Armand ‘his companion’ in his head.
Kissing him back as if he’s angry with hunger, Armand’s looped his good leg over him, easing onto his lap. It’s familiar.
Daniel gets onto the floor, he’s taking off the other man’s pants; careful of the broken leg. Then he’s palming at Armand’s underwear. He’s feverish again, hot with desire like he hasn’t been for… years? “You want this?” he mumbles.
“Yes.” Armand’s head thrown back. “Yes.”

Summary
Daniel asks Louis if he's sure when he first suggests it. He asks him again a few days later, to see if he's changed his mind. He makes a psychic collect call to Lestat, of all people, and asks if he's sure. Asks Armand if he's sure when he accepts the invitation, when they're packing, when they're on the way to the airport. When they're walking up to arrivals, Armand’s grip crushing Daniel's fingers, Louis smiling at the back of the crowd with his hands in his pockets, casual as anything, like they do this every day.
They're all sure and sure and sure, so Daniel lets Louis pull him in with one arm, Armand with the other, and hug them both while a planeful of tired New Yorkers filters out around them into the muggy bayou dark.
