Contrary to popular belief, Nedzu likes to go shopping for tea by himself. He knows when he sends other people, they’d always pick terrible flavors, and if he brought people with him then they would rush him. No, going alone was optimal.
Every few weeks Nedzu would go to his favorite shop, TeaRex. He never understood why it was named after a prehistoric creature, but he enjoyed the humor. The owner was always especially nice to him and would regularly bring in new types of tea for him to try.
It was on one such occasion that he saw something fascinating. It may be more accurate to say that it was something he experienced.
Nedzu was a block and a half away from the shop when he was knocked into by someone running by him. His tea scattered all over the floor, and as he turned to pick up his fallen love he felt a gust of air sweep by him.
He looked up and saw a figure with huge white wings swoop down the street. They quickly caught up to the man who had pushed Nedzu over and grabbed the man around the middle before shooting up into the sky. They vanished among the clouds and Nedzu’s curiosity was sparked.
