Such a lovely premise and I'm really enjoying this mature JYL pov as she navigates the past with close to 0 fucks left to give. I'm especially delighted by her inviting Lan wangji, mianmian, and wen qing to be her tea/gossip buddies and reclaiming some agency compared to the terrible neglect of all female characters in canon mdzs.
Unfortunately the author (by their own AN's) is openly/happily? lackadaisical about updates and this will probably not be finished. Its a shame bc the start is so strong! Left off at ch 4, updated 2024.
