When Ted Lasso goes to Kansas during the off-season, he is forced to grapple with the demons that still haunt him in his dreams; his broken-down marriage to Michelle, his son, who he abandoned halfway across the world, and his father’s death, which still tears a painful rift between him and his mother. The cherry on top, his mental health is now splashed across the English newspapers thanks to someone he still thinks of as family.
