Post Journey's End AU.
After surviving the events on the Crucible, the Doctor and Rose are together (and in a romantic bubble) when they find themselves in 9th century Norway. When they stumble into a bit of folklore not even Vikings know the answer to, they have to race against time to save the day.
(An episode-style romance/adventure loosely based on Norse Mythology 🪓😉. Bit of action, bit of smut, bit of fun!)
“That’s no ship,” the man growled, his hand on his ax, and the Doctor finally realized what was about to happen just as it was pulled from its holder, and he grabbed Rose immediately. The man let out a cry as he swung the ax, hitting the edge of the TARDIS.
He tugged on her hand, and he said one word, just one.
“RUN!”
