Ranboo watched as Zephyrus and Thanatos took off from the night sky from their apartment balcony. Both disappear into the night. Ranboo knows the other members won’t be joining soon, after that nasty hit to Icarus' side. He will be out of commission for a while. Guessing that Tartarus will be on watching duty. Ranboo hums to himself before they walk over to their work room, he’ll give Icarus another heath potion and a golden apple. It's been a week since his last check up.
You see Ranboo is a young adult in his apartment, alone with his cats and powers. Until his neighbors move away. A few people move in and out until a family of four moves into the small apartment with three rooms, now which peak his interest. Turns out it was a family with two kids and their platonic married parent’s. Well not kids, more like a Teen Adult and a Teen, like them. It was normal at first before the loud sounds at night. Every night the balcony door will open and close at random hours, night hours. It kept happening and Ranboo really wanted to see what they’re doing but he didn’t want to be a nosy person.
But he did. Look out from his bedroom windows and boy…that was a mistake. There on the balcony were the famous villains; Death’s Furies . Death’s Furies is a group of 4 villains, Tartarus, Zephyrus, Thanatos and Icarus. Ranboo was shocked, his neighbors were villains. Supervillains! The people who terrorize the city every day, the villains who are known for killing heroes, and other villains!
But his neighbors were kind and respectful to them. Ranboo has met them a few times. Their first meeting was when Pearl went over to their balcony and Ranboo had to get her back because Pearl still thinks it's a nice neighbor who would give her small sacks.

“Uh, hi, um. Can I have my cat back?” Ranboo asked the teen, who has this shocked face. “Uh, can I have my cat?” Ranboo asked again. The teen looks pissed before closing the door on them. Ranboo stood there for a few minutes before he even knocked again, the teen opened again and placed Pearl into his arms. “Here’s your cat, dickhead.”
Ranboo stutters, “W-what?” He holds Pearl closer.
“Why the fuck are you so tall? The fuck your parents feed you?” The teen asked. Ranboo felt uncomfortable and just walked away thanking the boy. “And why the fuck you’re wearing sunglassed inside!?”

The other time is when Ranboo is leaving his apartment. The man, who he knows is Zephyrus, always greeted him. The family was always nice and stayed their business, but Ranboo never knew the kind family was the Death’s Furies. He never got their name but he knew who was who. The buff man with pink hair is Tartarus, his husband is Zerphyrus, the teen adult is Thanatos, and the loud teen is Icarus. Both Zephyrus and Icarus look alike, like father and son type and Thanatos and Tartarus to nothing alike. Ranboo first through was adoption, but thanks to the nosy/gossip neighbor down the hall explain how Zephyrus is remarried, Zephyrus lost his wife when they were shopping at the mall before the mall collapsed when a hero cut the wrong wire of the bomb. Tartarus was their best friend from childhood, he stayed with Zephyrus’s side the whole time and helped Zephyrus’s kids and ended up living together as platonically married. (Ranboo doesn’t know how his gossip neighbor got all the information from them.)
(Now thinking about didn’t the villain, Persephone disappear after the bomb incident?)
For some reason Ranboo forgets their names. They knew the nosy neighbor told him the names, just his mind blocks their names.
Ranboo picks up a potion of healing and regeneration, places it in a small box and goes over to their aid kit. While looking for bandages, he heard the door opening knowing it’s his cats, EnderChest, EnderPearl and Jeffrey, coming into their work room. Today they choose to be a problem.
“You three better not start knocking things off the shelf.” Ranboo said, “or you’re going into the timeout box.” Both Ender and Jeffrey stop but Pearl keeps walking right to his legs and sits between his legs. “Good choice.”
But it didn’t stay peaceful and quiet. Their cats started climbing sheif, and soon they started pushing potions. Ranboo sighs and puts the bandages along with two potions. Ranboo went over to his desk where he makes the potions, near the brewing stand was a basket of golden apples. When Ranboo started delivering the potion he always added a golden apple. It was a small message: ‘I’m friendly and I just want to help.’ And he really loves how happy Icarus gets when he spots the golden apple.
Pearl happily knocks off a potion of Night Vision, all three cats watch as the potion falls but doesn’t hit the floor. Instead, the potion was floating in the air, before flying to Ranboo open hand. One the potion was safe in their hand, they looked at their cats who quickly left the room. Ranboo hums and shuts the door using his magic. Well power, if that's what everybody calls it.
Ranboo has a power (or powers) called witchcraft. He’s basically a witch. Well, an Ender Witch.
Ranboo grabs the basket and walks over to the door. Once he’s in the hallway he doesn’t close his door and push the basket in front of the neighbor’s door. Before knocking the door and closing his door as soon as he can. He listened as their neighbor’s door opened, the sound of the basket being picked up and the door closing. The walls of the apartment are soundproof but you could still hear the front door and balcony door opening, and the happy hybrid sound, like Icarus loud chirps when he sees the golden apple.
Now thinking about it, Zephyrus, Thanatos and Icarus are Elytrains, big beautiful wings and able to talk to some birds. Oh and chirping, lots of chirps. Ran likes the sounds, it is kinda relaxing to them. Tartarus wasn’t an Elytrain, instead he was a Brute Piglin Hybrid, Ranboo had met Tartarus, well ran into him, the man was awkward and nice to Ranboo (Nothing like the killing machine Tartarus). Oh and his ears were like elfs, with beautiful earrings. Reminds him of his mother’s ears.
Ranboo yawns, they check the time 11:38pm. Zephyrus and Thanatus won’t be home until morning. Hopefully they have a peaceful night and not fight heroes to the death.
Ranboo was awoken when Jeffrey started smacking his face for no reason. Once they dress up and check the time; 8:48 am which was too early for Ranboo but not his cats. They yawn as they open the cat food, all three cats crying out loud as Ranboo takes his time.
“Pay back for waking me up early.” Ranboo spoke, before four claws started climbing his leg. “Ow-OW-Ow!! Pearl! Okay-okay! Ow.” Ranboo quickly dumped the cat food into their bowl. Both Enderchest and Jeffrey started eating the food, Pearl was stuck on Ranboo’s leg. Pearl was still a kitten who didn't know how to unclaw. So Ranboo has to help her, by picking her up and placing her with the others.
After he finished feeding his cats and their stomachs, he went over to his room and lay on his bed. He sighs before grabbing his phone and checking the news.
Nothing much happened overnight, a few D-classed heroes stopped mugging, runaways or just small crimes. The media has said it has been quiet since the big fight between the Death’s Furies and The Dream Team (which is a lame name for the top heroes). A few people noted how Icarus was carried out of battle due to an injury on his side, this put Death’s Furies out of commission.
People are smart, but while they were out of commission, heroes took this time to improve the city, mostly rich areas, leaving poor classes to trust vigilantes or villains. Middle class have vigilantes and low heroes. Which the rich and businessmen have the top heroes.
To be honest, having powers and having a group of people will corrupt them. Like how heroes save the rich and middle class. Some people become heroes for fame and money. Villains are a group of people who have more money, and while doing that corrupts the villains too. Ranboo prefers people rather than sides.
That’s why he rejected his father’s invitation to become a hero.
