Then something odd happened. brief snippets, of, things... flickered through his minds eye. Familiar things, that didn't have much substance to them. A small red room with super hero posters on the wall. A boy with blonde hair like his, who always covered his eyes with cloth. Scrapes and bruises up both his legs and the taste of blood in his mouth. Mocking laughter, and a splotch of white hair. And a boy. A boy that wore a ram's mask and was prone to crying. Then like a door being slammed in his face, they stopped. Disappeared and gone.

I'm new to writing on AO3 and am not sure how much I'll write for this, but I plan to make it a vigilante Tommy fanfic. I haven't planned much yet, so I'm not sure where it's going, but I wanted to publish my first bit of writing.

During a stroll at night, Tommy had witnessed a bunch of heroes attacking a villain he didn’t see the face of. Due to his pure hatred for heroes, Tommy faked falling off the building to let the villain get away.
He didn’t know that villain was Hypocrates, though. One of the 3 leaders of the Syndicate.

Phil had his child taken away when the little one was really young, maybe 5 or 6. Techno and Wilbur suffered the loss just as much as Phil did. One night, the kid was just gone without a trace. Philza had a feeling it was because of his public villain presence, and it was a hero that took him.
Years later, they owed a kid a favor because of saving Wilbur’s life. But something was awfully familiar about him. The blonde hair and blue eyes…I mean, it’s a very common appearance. But they spoke out to specifically Phil. Techno and Wilbur didn’t get the feeling as well.

L’manburg was founded just a decade ago and problems have already started to start. All across the globe people have started using their powers for harm instead of good, more laws are being passed trying to restrict the use of them. With this and the newly elected president Schlatt -who is trying to change the country completely- things have gone downhill. Yet Tommy is ready to have a new start, even if that means coming to a completely new country. Tommy gets a job at ‘Captains cafe’ and things are going good. Until his nightmares start to come back and he needs a healthier outlet. Tommy puts on a hoodie and gets an old mask and goes to fight crime, he ends up getting more attention then he would like and ends up having both heroes and villains out to get him. Tommy Danger Kraken Innit is completely ultimately screwed.

And how the hell did they survive.
Now, both the Syndicate and the Ensemble knew about Vitreous. And both wanted to be the first ones to find him.
Whether Tommy knew it or not, he was fucked.
After TommyInnit's parents are mudered, he goes on a quest to find the murderers and kill them. However, things get tricky when the murderers are revealed to be The Syndicate, a powerful group of supervillains. During this, The Ensemble of Heroes catch wind of two new, up-and-coming vigilantes, and they aren't a fan of their methods for obtaining justice.
(Thanksgiving break is over which means my writing process is immediately slowed. Expect more updates in late december or at most early January!)

He stopped to look over himself in the mirror. His hair was still dripping and he had a couple bruises littering his face. Tommy also took note of the small scrape at the bottom left side of his jaw. He definitely looked like he’d gotten into another fight. His family was definitely going to be worried about that, he might even get a scolding from his dad about fighting. He was not looking forward to that tonight.
He sighed as he approached the door. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. Whatever he was expecting to find at eight something at night, it wasn’t this. In front of him sat his brother in a wooden dining chair, with a few drops of blood on his yellow sweater, holding a handful of tissues to his nose. His father stood in front of him, ice pack in hand, black wings bristled from worry. They only seemed to stand up more as the older man looked over Tommy.
“What the hell happened to you?”

He is meant to serve as Dream’s soldier boy, loyal as a hound, blood-bound until the master falls — and perhaps even beyond the grave. He is meant to fade into some tired little ending, a boy-shaped shadow lowered nameless into a coffin draped in withered garlands. He is meant to tick down, second by second, toward silence.
Instead, he stands here, his heart cupped in warm, gentle hands. A heart pink and small and cherished, cradled as though it were something precious. Loved. And the story does not begin with a coronation or a kiss beneath moonlight, no. It begins with blood on the floor of a warehouse.
That, at the very least, is normal.
Or: Every other Age Reveal Fic but with a ridiculous amount of cosmic imagery and italics.
