“Why the fuck are you so tall? The fuck are your parents feeding you?” The teen asked. Ranboo felt uncomfortable and just walked away thanking the boy. “And why the fuck you’re wearing sunglasses inside!?”

ranboo would like to point out that XD the god of Strength was also quite vile. In Fact there are stories about the god fighting and killing the hunters that chased him back in the early days.
And he was just curious as to why they worshiped all the other gods and not Him? Like it didn’t make sense to the prince. His older siblings always dismissed him as well all but, the only person who ever spoke of the god to him was a prisoner named Phil. The man was only in jail for a day or two before escaping so he only got a few minutes he could steal for himself to visit.
He had told ranboo how to get his hand on a book with more information. So he stole a few gold ingots from his brother who would forgive him easily enough and snuck out to town and to a bookstore.

Something had never felt quite right to him about the teen, and as a god who barely experienced emotions, that was quite the thing. He had felt uneasy when Ranboo hacked into the server, his server, and even more so when the hybrid didn’t remember how.
Ranboo always seemed– off, in some way. Different from the rest. He nearly made DreamXD twitch.
Nearly.
DreamXD was a god, after all. Why would he bat an eye at a mortal, even one as strange as this one?I really don't know what I'm doing anymore.

Summary
A distant Enderman call sounded in his mind, curious as to why he was out so late for him. Ranboo warbled contently back, assuring he was fine.
It was a beautiful night out after all. The clouds were something that the players of the server tended to look at and frown, sad they couldn’t see the stars twinkling in the night sky. For Endermen, and Ranboo as well, it felt safe.
It looked like home.
Each chapter is Ranboo and one of his enderman traits. He learns that maybe it's not a bad thing to be himself.

I meant to write a nonsense little crack fic and now it's?? got a plot and angst I don't know what happened here
I saw this one piece of fanart - https://twitter.com/aalfierd/status/1333062531603177473?s=19 - of a minimum wage worker AU? And fell in love with the idea and decided to write about it. It was meant to be mostly a joke and then I got invested and now it's this.
Also: This fic isn't really about minecraft? But it's more a retail AU of the dream SMP than of the real people so I tagged it like that. If this should be changed, let me know and I'll do so!
Also also this fic will eventually feature Schlatt and he'll be "Definitely not the best dude but tries sometimes for the folks he cares about" not "irredeemable monster" so if that's upsetting to you then find a different fic instead of yelling at me for it you've been warned many chapters in advance like that's probably going to be chapter 60 at this rate, maybe later -
