Summary
He had spent his life chained, his hands bound by silver containing him to the very room he had been born in.
His father feared him so but was too lonely to release him and much too cowardly to end his only child's life.
He resented the man so much, how could he inflict such a life on something he apparently beloved. So when his father came running to take him away, fearful that the village had found out about their resident beast. The son did nothing, he would rather die at their hands than continue his starvation. -
