Dear fellow UoS Students,
The Student Council has collaborated with the school counselors, Dr. Yun and Dr. Choi, in order to create a healthy environment for disabled and chronically ill students to meet, get to know each other, and support one another.
These will be in the form of chat groups, and if wanted, weekly meetings at the retrospective dormitory’s lounge. These chats will be overseen by one of the student volunteers for this project, some student council members included. The meetings, if organized, will be led by the student volunteer and one of the school counselors.
These chat groups are primarily for disabled students, but anyone who wishes to support and participate is welcome. There is a need for support and camaraderie among the school’s disabled population and non-disabled as well. The school hopes to provide a means of positive communication for all of its pupils, and this is a way to achieve that.
For more information please contact Dr. Yun or Dr. Choi through their email addresses, which were provided on the first day of school. If interested in joining, please text the person corresponding to your dormitory building.
