Chapter Text
Tommy stood on top of a short buildings rooftop, waiting impatiently for something to do.
He was super bored tonight, nothing interesting had happened
While part of him was kind of relieved the other part needed the action
He just wished that there was some kind of fight or something going on
As soon as that thought ran through his head, multiple gunshots were heard
He immediately leaped off of the roof and ran in the direction of the shots
Two more gunshots rang through the empty streets of Logstedshire, that only made Tommy run faster
Soon enough he was faced with a small warehouse type building
He walked closer to the closed entrance and heard grunting noises coming from inside
He figured that whoever was responsible for the shots had run out and now they were fist fighting the person they shot at
Tommy kept his footsteps silent as he walked up to the large doors on the front of the building
Before he went in he took a couple deep breaths and then shoved open the doors
He was met with an interesting scene in front of him
Blood God was fighting some other random dude
Blood God looked like he was losing, surprisingly
There was a reason that Blood God was feared the most by the public,
He had the power to bend someone’s blood, he could easily end anyone’s life in the blink of an eye!
Well, not Tommys life because Tommy had a resistance to powers, but still! Thats fucking terrifying!
Anyway, it seemed like this rando was also resistant to powers, but it also looked like he had another power of some sort, probably strength or something like that.
Nobody had noticed Tommys presence because the two were on busy fighting
Tommy carefully crept closer to the pair, pulling out his obsidian knife out of its holder
He stepped silently behind he random person and he could tell that Bloog God had now noticed him, as he was staring straight into Tommys eyes
Tommy slowly lifted up the knife and swiftly took hold of the person, dragging them backwards and away from Blood God and pressing the knife to their throat
They went to retaliate but Tommy quickly slit their throat before they could do anything
The body dropped to the ground and Tommy heaved, trying to catch his breath
Tommys gaze snapped upwards when he heard heavy footsteps approaching him
Oh right, Blood God was still here
”Hey, BG! How ya doin’ on this fine day-night” Tommy chuckled nervously
Blood God ignored his comment and just kept a steady pace towards Tommy
”L-listen Big Man, I don’t want any trouble, I can just be on my way now!” Tommy attempted to zip tot eh right but Blood God was close enough to grab his shoulders and hold him still
Tommys heart was beating faster now
Blood God just stared at Tommy for a moment before sighing
”Ok, I guess since you technically saved me I owe you a favor now” Blood God sighed again
Tommy forced himself to suck in a breath
”Uh, no thanks Big Man,” Tommy said, “Ill just be on my way and we never have to talk again”
Tommy could see Blood God take a deep breath, oh shit, he was getting annoyed at Tommy
“Oook,” Tommy drawled out the ‘o’, “Im just gonna stop talking now Mr. God”
Blood God paused and stared down at Tommy
Tommy shrunk back and tried to make himself look smaller
”Listen kid, you gotta pick something, The Syndicate doesnt leave favors unpaid” Blood God explained
Right, The Syndicate, Tommy really wasnt getting out of this without a favor, is he?
”Ok, fine, I um,” Tommy thought for a minute before an idea popped into his head, “Your earring! I want your earring.”
Blood God faltered for a moment before quickly composing himself
”My…earring?” He asked
Tommy nodded enthusiastically
“Yup! Your always wearing it and I thought it looked really cool” Tommy flushed once he realized he had just complimented THE Blood God
The two sat in silence for a minute, but for Tommy it felt like an eternity
”Alright, fine” Blood God said, and carefully un hooked the earring from his ear and gently laid it in Tommys hand
Tommy gently held it with one and and quickly took out his previous earring and replaced it with the emerald
“You better not lose that kid” Blood God threatened
Tommy scoffed, “What do take me for? Of course im not gonna lose the Blood Gods precious jewelry!”
Blood God sighed, and Tommy swore it sounded almost found, but he was sure that was just his dumb brain making shit up
The Blood God didnt say anything, he just dropped his arms to his side and walked away from Tommy
As soon as Tommy was sure the man was gone he sprinted out of the warehouse as quick as he could, and didnt look back once
Maybe if he had he would’ve seen the man dressed in all green watching the interaction closely
