"NO MORE MUTANTS."

THE CORPSE OF PIETRO is cold, so stiff even with all the attempts by Wanda’s abilities to restore life to her twin brother, the only success being in reconstructing his face and ridding him of the rubble and blood that covered his body.
This is the end of Quicksilver, who only wished for Daddy to be happy.
How can you make one happy, however, when they believe their status as an enhanced being by default brings them superiority to everyone around them? A man who even when given the chance to live a fantasy where he is on top must tarnish it to keep others down?
To be a mutant is not to be closer to a status of godhood, nor is it to be the world's ruler.
It is to be a freak of nature, that destroys everything in its path and ruins everything it touches.
Earth cries tears not because of the sin of man but the ego of mutants.
The followers of Charles Xavier bring to the planet battles as the servicemen for Daddy give to the land chaos, for the X-Gene in its core is corrupt.
The only way to a path of stability and peace is if it—no, they—never existed at all.
Wanda opens her eyes, her green orbs looking around at the many X-Men and Avengers surrounding the ruins of the paradise she made.
“Daddy…” Wanda sobs out, clutching tighter at the immobile body of her deceased brother.
She does not pull up any barriers or throw out energy blasts as the White Queen, Cyclops, Storm, and Wolverine begin to approach her, only whispering three words as tears fall down her face—
“No more mutants.”
Everything from the ground crumbles and rises in silence, and the entire realm once brought into existence by Scarlet Witch is dematerialized into a bask ray of pure white.
