Gilgamesh may have overwhelmed her when she was in her Ataraxia and Flame Empress armor, she will admit with restraint, but she will defeat him with the power of her divine Heaven's Wheel Armor.
She'll make sure of it.
(Or, Gilgamesh ends up in the world of Fairy Tail and is intrigued by Erza Scarlet, another female knight who won't back down from him, while Erza is wondering the quickest way to remove that insufferable grin off his face.)

"You think too highly of yourself,” Luthor sharply argues, continuing to stare at the chessboard to avoid the smile he just knows is on Superman’s face.
Eventually, a black piece moves and conquers one of Luthor’s pawns, laughter—too gentle, too unbothered—following suit.
“You know, some heroes would say that’s an ironic statement coming from you.”
Luthor raises his eyebrows as his green eyes slowly travel up to the smile on his nemesis that’s with all teeth and no strains, so genuine that had Luthor been a man without class or wits, he’d probably try to quickly find a physical way to wipe it off the hero’s face.
Yet another reason to add to the never-ending contempt Luthor has for the alien, along with his constant decisions to visit and talk to him whenever he ends up behind bars.
(Or, Superman visits Lex Luthor, trying to have Lex see the light as Lex travles along the lines of bad and good. Slight AU where Lex Luthor is a villain but hasn't gone THAT far.)

Former shrine maidens under Yukari who attempted to rebel against her were often the most loyal to their destiny as mortal priestesses who protected humans from the dangers of youkai, including youkai such as Yukari.
It's somewhat surprising that the Hakurei who perhaps is least connected to the religious obligations of her role managed to pull the most unexpected sneak attack—
Of course, in the end, like the rest she failed to meet expectations.
(Fic story and title based on the Touhou fan song and fan video "Draw the Line" by Sound Holic.)
