People do that when they fear what they don't understand, as he grew in years he tried to be the bridge between two worlds, perhaps peace could be forged with pure will and desire to uphold ancient and traditional values. Both cultures could learn to coexist if one man fought for the greater good, and lord knows he has saved countless times both homes and the world entire. He was never taken seriously he never had the loyalty and devotion like the trinity that Batman, Superman, and wonderman had effortlessly gained over the years. Creating the Justice League was an attempt to show solidarity among land and sea being a founding member had been one of his shining achievements, but now as he looks beyond the boarders of Atlantis. Arthur is reminded, no matter how powerful he was he always felt so small.

The first thing she’d said had been it’s cold, and Diana had laughed, wrapping her up tighter in an embrace.
Diana had not been home in six months.

An old villain of Wonder Woman is out for revenge, and it's one she simply can't deal with alone. With everyone else busy, it falls to a young Dick to help her out. He's eager to assist (especially for her) but isn't quite sure he's up for it. Diana, however has faith in the young Robin, and the requirements for her plan isn't much more then a second set of hands anyway.
Ultimately though, it turns out that her foe was more powerful than anticipated and that she's going to need even more help from Robin after all...Series

These cogs eventually turn the hands on a clock tower. Even the smallest one is fundamental to the efficiency of the clock tower. For the Justice League, you are that cog. You keep them turning. You keep the public's infallible heroes functioning, you keep them from falling apart. The public may never know your face or your name and they definitely won't know that you're the glue that keeps the Justice League together. The public will never know how essential you are to the Justice League and even more to the "Trinity". Or how you will be. This fic describes how exactly you become a vital part of the Justice League and maybe fall in love along the way.
