Summary
Arthur Curry, curmudgeonly lighthouse keeper (and begrudgingly Amnesty Bay's only superhero, Aquaman,) wants nothing more than to unwind with the book he's been trying to finish for the last few months. The lighthouse literally requires a boat to reach, and he's the only person on the island: no one should be beating on his door and demanding his immediate attention.
And yet, someone is beating on his door and demanding his immediate attention. Again.

Summary
People do that when they fear what they don't understand, as he grew in years he tried to be the bridge between two worlds, perhaps peace could be forged with pure will and desire to uphold ancient and traditional values. Both cultures could learn to coexist if one man fought for the greater good, and lord knows he has saved countless times both homes and the world entire. He was never taken seriously he never had the loyalty and devotion like the trinity that Batman, Superman, and wonderman had effortlessly gained over the years. Creating the Justice League was an attempt to show solidarity among land and sea being a founding member had been one of his shining achievements, but now as he looks beyond the boarders of Atlantis. Arthur is reminded, no matter how powerful he was he always felt so small.

Summary
The year is 1988. Clark Kent is a 14 year old boy living in Smallville, Kansas. He's a quiet, kind-hearted dork who loves comic books and is keeping one of the greatest secrets in human history, namely that he is secretly an alien from outer space. As far as the rest of the world is aware, UFOs and ghosts and all of that "weekly world news" stuff is just as fictional as the superheroes in Clark's comics, and so he keeps his secret, always wondering where he came from and always wondering what he could accomplish if he had the courage to stop hiding and start using his alien abilities to help people, like the heroes in the stories he reads.
One night, Clark is attacked by time traveling villains who seek to wipe him out before he can become a threat to them, and is rescued by J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter, who received a message from his future self warning of the temporal incursion. Clark must then go on the run, evading the cabal of supervillains who are trying to kill him, and find and recruit other strange kids with strange abilities and backgrounds who will one day join Clark in founding the Justice League of America.
That is, if they can survive.
